Messi will not only visit Mumbai but also Kolkata and Delhi during this tour. He is planned to be given a royal welcome at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Messi will also inaugurate a football workshop and a “football clinic” for children in Kolkata.

According to the Times of India, a special seven-a-side football tournament will be organized in Messi’s honor, which has been named “GOAT CUP” (Greatest of All Time Cup). This will be a historic moment for football fans in Kolkata.

Currently, 38-year-old Messi plays for US club Inter Miami. He is also the captain of the Argentina national team. Argentina won the World Cup under his leadership in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
