The entire July is being strategically handed over to Jamaat: Tajnuva Jabin

The newly formed party Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) has witnessed political ups and downs just before the elections. Tajnuva Jabin, one of the founding members of the party and central joint convener, has announced her resignation from the party. On Sunday (December 28), she announced her decision not to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections along with her resignation in a Facebook status.
Tajnuva Jabin alleged that the seat agreement with Jamaat was not a sudden decision, but rather a well-planned political strategy. She wrote, “The entire July is being handed over to Jamaat in the name of political strategy.” She also criticized the ‘minus politics’ going on among the party’s top leadership and said that the leaders are so busy among themselves that they will not be able to do new politics for the country.
She also said that although 125 people were nominated in the party decision, seat agreements were made for 30 people, and the rest do not have the opportunity to be elected. In this situation, he will not contest the elections independently and has promised to return the donations collected for the elections.
Tajnuva Jabin's resignation has raised questions about the politics of the NCP. Political analysts say that a cautious discussion has now begun on why the party, which was born from a mass uprising, got stuck in the old political system in the first vote.
