The students gave an ultimatum to the election commissioners to resign

After the resignation of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the face of a round of demands of the anti-discrimination student movement, the ministers of all government departments, the state ministers and the deputy ministers have gone into hiding. Along with this, senior officials of the administration are also being transferred. This time, there have been demands for the resignation of election commissioners including the chief election commissioner.
It can be seen on the ground in the EC building on Thursday that the students-crowd gave an ultimatum to the election commissioners including the chief election commissioner to resign. For this reason, the banner of the students is placed in front of the outer wall of the building. The banner read 'All election commissioners must resign due to the murder and genocide of the election system of Bangladesh'.
The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal did not work for the last two days, but he did work today. However, three election commissioners did not hold office. The CEC arrived at the polling house around 12 noon and left around 3 pm. In addition, Election Commissioner said. Ahsan Habib Khan works full time. However, the Election Commissioner said. Alamgir, Rasheda Sultana and Md. Anishur Rahman did not work.
After Sheikh Hasina left the country last Monday (August 5), the CEC, four election commissioners, secretaries and additional secretaries did not come to the election building on Tuesday. However, other officers-employees came down under the building in fear of attack. Later everyone left before one in the afternoon.
