Arrest warrant against Shakib Al Hasan!

An arrest warrant has been issued against Bangladesh national cricket team all-rounder and former member of parliament Shakib Al Hasan in a check dishonor case of IFIC Bank.
The court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ziadur Rahman in Dhaka issued the warrant on Sunday.
According to the case documents, the case was filed on December 15, 2024, on charges of check dishonor of IFIC Bank worth Tk 4 crore 14 lakh 57 thousand. Earlier, on December 18, Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Mahbubul Haque's court issued summons against Shakib and four accused on December 18.
The other accused in the case are Shakib Al Hasan Agro Farm Limited's Managing Director Gazi Shahgir Hossain and Directors Imdadul Haque and Malaika Begum.
The court said that the arrest warrant has been issued against the accused for disobeying previous orders. They have also been ordered to appear in court on January 18.
No comment was received from cricketer Shakib Al Hasan or his lawyer on the incident.
