Amir Maulana Habibur Rahman of Jamaat-e-Islami's Kalmakander Upazila was seriously injured in an accident on his way home from a workers' conference in Netrakona. He taught at Kalmakanda Al Jamiatul Alim Madrasa.
The accident took place in the Kalmakanda bus stand area while returning home from Netrakona on a motorcycle after the workers' conference.
It is known that Amir Habibur Rahman was seriously injured after losing control of the motorcycle and falling from the motorcycle. Later the locals rescued him and sent him to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. If the situation worsens there, they are sent to Dhaka.
According to Amir's eldest son Mojahid Billah, his father's condition is deteriorating. Currently he is kept in ICO. Mojahid Billah asked countrymen for prayers for his father.
