Jobi gave 16 lakh rupees to the chief adviser's fund to help the flood victims

The teachers, officials and employees of Jagannath University decided to pay the equivalent of one (1) day's basic salary to the people of the flood affected areas of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
Jagannath University has contributed a total of Rs.16 lakhs (approx) to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund for assistance. This information was informed in a press release published by the university's publication office on Monday.
Of the amount paid to the Chief Adviser's Fund, Rs 11,44,929 was paid by teachers, Rs 3,08,830 by officers, Rs 69,747 by staff and Rs 76,441 by support staff from their basic salary.
