Political tension is currently at its peak in India. BJP leader Shuvendu Adhikari and Republic Bengal journalist Mayukh Ranjan Ghosh have been targeted on the streets in the midst of the 'Modi hatao, Bharat bachao' slogans. The general public has become angry over the country's fragile economy, deteriorating relations with neighboring countries and allegations of creating a state of war.
According to a front-line media report, these two individuals cannot be found in West Bengal due to their provocative statements against Muslims and anti-Bangladesh stance in the wake of the Kashmir attack. Local sources say that they have been mob lynched in the face of public anger.
In particular, Mayukh Ranjan Ghosh, known as the 'salon seller' to the people of Bangladesh, had to leave Kolkata due to the wrath of the Hindu mob. It has been alleged that he and Shuvendu Adhikari were trying to incite Hindu-Muslim riots across India. Not only that, Shuvendu has put West Bengal traders at great risk by proposing to ban Bangladeshi products and advising Bangladeshi patients to seek treatment in Pakistan.
In this situation, Kolkata traders have united against Shuvendu. At the same time, Mayukh Ranjan's 'propaganda journalism' and anti-Bangladesh statements have also been strongly protested.
Many say that trying to start a war with Pakistan was also part of the strategy of these two, which has exceeded the limits of people's patience. Therefore, this time they have faced public resistance.
However, no official comment has been received about their position or condition yet.
