One of the reasons for the security concerns that have arisen across Europe surrounding the Russia-Ukraine war is Russia's new missile 'Oreshnik'. Considering the severity of 'Oreshnik', military analysts are already saying that this missile can threaten almost every country in Europe. Soma Islam's special report on this 'Oreshnik' missile discussed across Europe

The 'Oreshnik' missile is currently a name of fear throughout the world. It is known that no modern air defense system has yet been developed to counter this Oreshnik hypersonic missile, which flies 10 times faster than the speed of sound. Recently, Russia has kept world leaders, including the world leader, the United States, awake by launching a new medium-range ballistic missile 'Oreshnik' in the city of Dnipro in Ukraine. This ‘Oreshnik’ with a non-nuclear hypersonic configuration has precisely hit the target. Not only that, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Oreshnik, which has a speed of about 3 kilometers per second, is invulnerable because of its ability to change course mid-flight. The Oreshnik missile carries three to six individually controlled warheads that are capable of carrying nuclear warheads. Putin also commented that the missile is ‘a unique creation of contemporary Russian missile engineering’.

According to Ukrainian media, the Oreshnik can have a range of 3,000-5,000 kilometers. It hit the Dnipro, located about 900 kilometers from the Kapustin Yar range. As a result, new generation weapons like the Oreshnik have created security concerns across Europe. According to military analysts, this missile can threaten almost every country in Europe.
