Bangladeshi envoy meeting with Qatar's labor minister

Qatar's Minister of Justice and Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim Bin Ali Al Mahanadi, has a meeting with the Ambassador of Bangladesh assigned to the country. Nazrul Islam. At this time, the ambassador briefed the Qatari minister about the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Qatar. He discussed various important aspects of the Emir of Qatar's highly successful visit to Bangladesh in April this year.
Besides, in the meeting, referring to the two consecutive visits of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to Qatar last year, he expressed hope that the existing friendly relations between the two countries will be strengthened through the Amir's visit to Bangladesh.
He praised Qatar's legal system and sought the cooperation of Qatar's justice minister to ensure justice for expatriate Bangladeshis. The embassy regularly uses social media to inform the minister of the changes in the Bangladeshi expatriate laws in Qatar.
Referring to the signed agreement on legal cooperation between Bangladesh and Qatar, the ambassador sought the cooperation of the Qatari minister to speed up the ratification of the agreement and to form a joint committee in light of it.
The Qatari minister thanked the ambassador and expressed satisfaction over the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Qatar. He referred to the recent visit of the Emir of Qatar to Bangladesh as a milestone in bilateral relations between the two countries. He expressed satisfaction over the signing of the agreement on legal cooperation between the two countries and promised to provide all kinds of cooperation in the implementation of the agreement.
Besides, he advised to coordinate and implement the issue by appointing the focal point of the Ministry of Justice and Bangladesh Embassy in Qatar regarding the formation of a joint committee.
In the meeting, the position of the Bangladesh community in Qatar and their role in the socio-economic development of Qatar and other important issues were discussed.
