Sonahat land port will be closed for 6 days on the occasion of autumn Durga Puja

Authorities have announced the closure of Bhurungamari Sonahat land port bordering Kurigram for six days. This holiday is declared on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga festival.

On Wednesday (October 9) at noon, the president of the C&F Agent Association of Sonahat land port. Abdur Razzak confirmed the closure.
Sonahat land port of Kurigram will be closed for 6 days on the occasion of autumn Durga Puja. A letter signed by the President and General Secretary of Sonahat Sthalbandar C&F Agent Essien informed about this closure. In the letter, it is said that on the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja, all types of import and export operations at Sonahat land port will be closed from Wednesday, October 9 to Monday, October 14.
President of C&F Agent Association of Land Port. Abdur Razzak said, Sonahat land port will be closed for six consecutive days. During this time, all activities including product redemption will be stopped. The work at the port will start from October 15.
