
A fearsome name in the history of the criminal world: Subrata Bain—An unknown chapter of birth, rise and fall
In the nineties, a talked-about and fearsome name in the criminal world of Dhaka was Subrata Bain, known as Fateh Ali. Born in 1967 at the Holy Family Hospital in Dhaka, Subrata Bain was a son of Jobarpar village in Agailjhar, Barisal. Since childhood, his family lived in a rented house in Moghbazar, where he, along with his mother and three sisters, served as the eldest child in the family. In his educational career, he started from Oxford Mission School in Barisal and passed his SSC from Sher-e-Bangla School in Dhaka. Subrata entered the world of crime when he was admitted to college. After being admitted to Siddheshwari College, he met a political leader and based on that source, he took up arms and started his path of crime.
