Rajibpur police arrested 2 drug dealers with 40 pieces of yaba and 1 van in Rajibpur of Kurigram.
A smart team of Rajibpur police station of Kurigram district raided Tangalia Mandalpara area of Rajibpur union of upazila on Saturday morning (September 21) and arrested 2 people including 40 pieces of yaba, cash for drug sales, 2 mobile phones and 1 battery powered charger van used for transporting drugs. .
The arrested are drug dealers Md Alamgir Hossain (36) and Md Alam (41) of Bagarchar area of Dewanganj upazila of Jamalpur district.
Confirming the arrest, Kurigram District Police Media Spokesperson Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Ruhul Amin said that a case under Narcotics Control Act is under process at Rajibpur police station against the arrested drug dealers.
