A discussion meeting was held with the leaders of the Pooja Celebration Parishad and the Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad under the initiative of the district police in order to observe the upcoming Autumn Durgo Festival in Tangail in a sound and peaceful environment. Superintendent of Police Saiful Islam Santu presided over the exchange meeting held at the multipurpose shed of Police Lines on Monday (September 9) with the officials of the district police department.
Speaking at this time, he said that everyone should be alert in their respective positions so that evil forces do not destroy communal harmony around Durga Puja. Maximum security will be provided in each puja mandap and surrounding area. This year Sharidiya Durgo Festival will be celebrated in a more magnificent and peaceful atmosphere than any other year.
