Immense excitement has already built up around the match at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium. Indian football fans have long supported Brazil in large numbers, and that enthusiasm has surged further since the team's arrival in the city.
In their last outing, India played out a 1–1 draw against Panama, with Ryan Williams scoring to put the team ahead. Now, an even tougher test awaits Khalid Jamil's squad.
On the other hand, Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil squad features renowned players such as Vinícius Júnior, Endrick, Estêvão, Gabriel Martinelli, Bruno Guimarães, and Marquinhos.
Raphinha will miss the match due to injury. Brazil coach Ancelotti has hinted at fielding some players who have had limited playing time. Goalkeeper Pedro Morisco could also earn a spot in the starting XI.
