Thousands of people gather to watch Lathibari game.

In order to keep the youth away from drugs and to bring back the village game, a huge Lathibari game was organized by Binyauri Youth Samaj.
Sheikh Md. Lutfar Rahman, Senior Officer of Sonali Bank, inaugurated Lathibari game in Binyauri village of Sahdevpur Union of Kalihati Upazila on Tuesday (October 1).
Fayaz Group DGM Monzoor Hossain Khan was present as chief guest in Lathibari game under the chairmanship of Afroz Hossain Khan.
Nasreen Dalim Khan was present as the chief sponsor.
Upazila BNP joint general secretary Masudur Rahman Bala and Jaseem Khan, former councilor of Elenga municipality Abdul Barek and others were present as special guests.
Abdul Majid of Gupinathpur village of Sahdevpur union led the team in Lathibari game.
A group of 20 people performed various gestures including lathibari, ramda, sarki, breaking bricks on the chest, eating tube light, stick on zero, rotating ramda and spinning the head hair. At this time, about 2-3 thousand spectators from around 20 villages came to watch the game.
Binyauri villagers fully cooperated in the game.
At the end of the game, the winning team is awarded with a baton game.
