Rashed Khan, the Prime Minister's political assistant, remarked that those who spread hatred in society in the name of Islam deserve to be branded as the "ultimate Masud" (a derogatory term implying a despicable or contemptible person). He made this comment in a post on his verified Facebook account on Sunday (September 13).

In the post, Rashed Khan commented on the statements and activities of a specific individual associated with Rajshahi University. He claimed that the individual delivered a speech without wearing a religious cap and raised questions regarding his role in various matters.

Rashed Khan further alleged that an Officer-in-Charge (OC) and a Major were removed from their posts within a short span of time due to this individual's influence. In this context, he questioned the exercise of political influence and power.

He also commented on the individual's financial dealings in the post, though he did not present any detailed evidence or documentation regarding these claims.

Rashed Khan remarked that one often wonders whether such people are practicing Islam or spreading hatred. He observed that if this is the language used by such Jamaat-affiliated individuals to establish Islam, it would lead to greater unrest rather than peace in society.

He added that anyone working to establish true Islam certainly deserves support. However, criticizing those who spread hatred in society in the name of Islam, he stated that they deserve to be branded as the ultimate Masud."
