New political platform named ‘Bangladesh Janarashtra Andolon’ launched

A new political platform named ‘Bangladesh Janarashtra Andolon’ has been formally launched, keeping in mind the ideals of the Great Liberation War and the July Mass Uprising. The organization’s activities began with the announcement of a 21-member central committee at a program organized at the National Press Club in the capital.

The organization’s founder Aminul Islam Sagar presided over the program. Mohammad Ullah Madhu has been appointed as the secretary and Iqbal Hossain (Samya Shah) as the spokesperson of the announced central committee.

Leaders of various political parties were present at the program and expressed their views on the country’s current political situation, economy and democracy.

State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Nurul Haque Nur expressed concern over the country’s ongoing political situation in his speech. He criticized various activities of the National Citizens Party (NCP) and former head of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus. At the same time, he emphasized the need for greater unity among political parties to deal with the country’s crisis.

Mahmudur Rahman Manna, President of Nagorik Oikya, spoke about the unemployment, investment crisis and employment situation in the country. He said that effective steps are needed to increase employment and ensure economic stability. He also expressed his views on the independence of the judiciary and various state policy issues.

Saiful Haque, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party, emphasized political culture and democratic practices. He said that politics is a matter of patience, experience and long struggle and all parties need to play a responsible role in building a sustainable political environment.

In addition, various political and social figures including Rafiqul Islam Bablu, Subrata Chowdhury and poet Mohan Raihan were present at the event. They expressed their views on the current political reality of the country, democracy and the future political environment.

The newly formed 'Bangladesh Janarashtra Andolan' has expressed its determination to work as a new platform in the country's politics. The leaders of the organization said that their activities will be carried out in the future by prioritizing people's participation, democratic values ​​and national interests.
