The physical condition of Mirza Abbas, a member of the BNP Standing Committee and advisor to the Prime Minister, who is undergoing treatment in Malaysia, has improved. If everything is fine as per the doctors' advice, he can return home in the first week of June, his wife Afroza Abbas said.

Afroza Abbas gave the latest information about the physical condition of Mirza Abbas, who is undergoing treatment at the Prince Court Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to reporters on Saturday (May 16).

Quoting doctors, she said that Mirza Abbas's physical condition is currently much more stable than before. After various tests, he has been kept under special observation and is gradually recovering under intensive supervision. The medical team has also expressed satisfaction with his physical progress.

She also said that as per the doctors' advice, Mirza Abbas has been kept under adequate rest and rehabilitation treatment. Every step of the treatment is being monitored seriously. Currently, he is moving around the hospital in a wheelchair for some time every day on the advice of the doctor.

Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates in Malaysia, expatriate journalists and family members were present at the time. They sought prayers from the countrymen for Mirza Abbas's speedy and full recovery.
