Shahbag’s “Golapi” is set to receive a house gifted by the Prime Minister.

BNP Chairman and main sponsor of 'Amra BNP Paribas' Tarique Rahman has taken the initiative to gift a new house to the helpless pink house Begum, who has been living on the sidewalk of Shahbag for a long time.
The construction of a new house will be inaugurated on Friday (April 17) at 4 pm under the initiative of 'Amra BNP Paribas'. At this time, the organization's advisor and MP from Raipura constituency of Narsingdi, Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, will conduct the inauguration program.
Local leaders including Advocate Abdul Mannan, MP from Brahmanbaria-5 (Nabinagar Upazila) constituency, are expected to be present at the event.
It is learned that a permanent house will be built for Pink House Begum in Ratanpur village of Ratanpur union of Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
'Amra BNP Paribas' member secretary, agriculturalist Md. Mokchedul Momin confirmed the matter.
