“I am with the party, I will be with it, I have never betrayed it” - Sajjad Hossain Lavlu

Sajjad Hossain Lavlu Siddiqui, BNP candidate for Madaripur-1 constituency and joint convener of the district BNP, said, “I am with the party, I will be with it, I have never betrayed it, I will not. The people love me, I am also with them and I will be.”
He said these things at a colorful rally and discussion meeting organized on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day at Ekattar Chattar, Shibchar Upazila on Sunday afternoon (November 9).
Lavlu Siddiqui said, “National Revolution and Solidarity Day is a symbol of the restoration of our democracy. Inspired by the ideals of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, we will unite in the movement to protect democracy. We have endured torture and oppression during the party’s difficult times, but we have never strayed from the party.”
He also said, “I believe in the party’s leadership, I have faith in the people. We all have to remain united to restore democracy in the country.”
Earlier, BNP leaders and activists from various unions and municipal wards of the upazila gathered at Ekattor Chattar from 4 pm. Playing drums and drums, carrying banners and festoons, a colorful rally led by Sajjad Hossain Lavlu circled the main roads of the city and ended at Swadhinata Chattar.
At the discussion meeting organized after the rally, speakers highlighted the significance of National Revolution and Solidarity Day and demanded that Sajjad Hossain Lavlu Siddiqui be nominated as BNP's candidate in Madaripur-1 constituency.
A large number of leaders and activists of local BNP, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal were present at the rally.
