Will fight legally for Shapla, fight on the road: Sarjis Alam

Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) northern region chief organizer Sarjis Alam has said that he will fight legally if he does not get the Shapla symbol. He said that there is no legal obstacle to getting the Shapla symbol, the Election Commission cannot arbitrarily treat the NCP. If necessary, the fight will be waged both through the law and the road.

Sarjis Alam told reporters after the coordination meeting of the Jatiya Nagorik Party's district and upazila committees at the conference room of the Muktijoddha Complex in Joypurhat city on Monday (October 20). He also said that the NCP wants to work as a government party representing the people in the future, and if not, it will contribute to the country's politics as a strong opposition party. The NCP will not do the politics of being a pet opposition party like the Jatiya Party.

NCP Central Organizing Secretary Imran Emon, Joint Chief Organizer Shakib Mahdi, and District NCP Joint Coordinator Omar Ali Babu, along with district and upazila leaders, were present at the meeting.
