The Jubo League activist arrested in the controversial egg-throwing case in New York, USA, has finally been released on bail. The court granted his bail on Tuesday afternoon local time and he walked out of jail in the afternoon.

Immediately after his release, local Awami League and Jubo League leaders and activists welcomed him with flower garlands. At that time, there was jubilation among the supporters and the entire atmosphere became filled with slogans.

It is worth noting that the Jubo League activist was recently arrested at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on charges of throwing eggs at a leader of the National Citizens Party (NCP). The case has been widely discussed since the incident.

In a brief statement after receiving bail, the Jubo League activist said, "I have not committed any crime. I was framed politically. Today I am free because the truth has come to light."

On the other hand, local leaders of the Awami League and its affiliates said that the case was filed with political motives. They expressed hope that such harassment cases will not happen again in the future.

After the incident, a new debate has started in the political arena. Opposition leaders have commented that this bail is the result of exerting influence. However, Awami League leaders have rejected this and said that the bail was granted in accordance with the law.
