Keeping the slogan of ‘Establishing the political rights of youth’ in mind, leaders and activists of three organiza- tions — Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal — are coming to participate in the rally in separate processions in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Wednesday (May 28) at 2 pm.
Leaders and activists from various districts of Dhaka, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Faridpur divisions across the country have entered Nayapaltan in droves with great enthusiasm to join the rally. Since morning, the area around the central office has become a sea of people. Many are holding party flags, banners and festoons, while some have filled the premises with slogans and songs.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will address the rally as the chief guest from a virtual connection.
Traffic has been temporarily closed in Nayapaltan area as law enforcement officers are on high alert.
The party said that the main objective of this rally is to convey a positive message by bringing forward the political concerns, expectations and participation of the youth. Earlier, the Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal have successfully organized rallies and seminars in Chittagong, Khulna and Bogra.
