Continuous position in the secretariat from Sunday if not promoted

A group of pro-BNP officials have demanded promotion by today. Otherwise, they will hold a continuous sit-in program at the Ministry of Public Administration from Sunday.
This ultimatum was given yesterday in an exchange meeting in the hall room of Officers Club. It was presided over by former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's Private Secretary (PS). Abdus Sattar.

Officer Salahuddin Nagri spoke.
BCS Administration 82 (Special) Batch Officer Munsi Alauddin Al Azad, 85 Batch Officer Abdul Mannan, Bangladesh Administrative Association General Secretary Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman etc. were present.
Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's Private Secretary (PS) Md. Abdus Sattar said, all deprived officers (cadre non-cadre) should be promoted by Saturday. Otherwise, the deprived people will hold a continuous sit-in program at the Ministry of Public Administration from Sunday morning.
He also said that any secretary of the previous government, including the current cabinet secretary, will not be able to come to the secretariat and sit on the chair from Sunday. Checkposts will be installed at the gates of the Secretariat if necessary to prevent the entry of Cabinet Secretaries and Secretaries. Besides, all departmental commissioners, DCs and SPs of the country should be dismissed.
