The anti-discrimination student movement has given a one-hour ultimatum on three demands, including the removal of pro-Awami judges. Coordinator Hasnat Abdullah gave the ultimatum from the High Court premises on Wednesday (October 16) around 1 pm.

One of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement said that thousands of people are injured and crying in the hospital. The followers of fascism chanted 'Sheikh Hasina government, we need it again and again' after treason with the blood of the martyrs. They have no regrets. We want the abolition of fascism.

Earlier, as part of the pre-announced High Court siege program, the students surrounded the High Court area from 11:30 am on Wednesday with processions from various institutions including Dhaka University. On this day, along with the students, people of various classes and professions also participated in the procession. The coordinators have announced to continue the sit-in program until the demands are met.

The 3-point demands of the anti-discrimination student movement are- The pro-Awami "fascist" judges should be removed, the lawyers of the Awami panel should be removed from the Supreme Court, Judges' Courts, Sessions Judge's Courts across the country and BCL should be declared a terrorist organization immediately.

It is to be noted that pro-Awami lawyers staged a protest at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court premises of Dhaka on Tuesday. At that time they chanted slogans like 'Sheikh Hasina's government, we need it again and again', 'Sheikh Hasina is not afraid, she has not left the Rajpath', 'Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu'. A video of 20 to 25 lawyers participating in the protest has already gone viral on social media.

Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah, one of the two coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, called for a high court siege program in a Facebook post on Tuesday (October 15) night in response to the protest program of pro-Awami lawyers.
