Attacks on various shrines are a sign of horror: Farmer-Labor Liberation Movement

Bangladesh NAP Secretary General and convener of the Farmer-Labour Liberation Movement M. commented that the attackers are encouraged by the silence of the advisors. Gholam Mustafa Bhuiya said that the recent attacks on shrines in different parts of the country are a terrible sign. But the advisors in charge of the current interim government are keeping silent instead of taking any strict and effective measures against it. As a result, the culprits of anti-national forces are encouraged to attack shrines and dargahs. Which is destabilizing the society and the state.
The chairman said these things in the meeting of the Convening Committee of the Farmers-Labor Liberation Movement at the central office on Wednesday (September 11).
He said, although some of the advisers of the interim government are against it, the people are not observing any effective and visible measures of the government to suppress or control this communal extremist force. Criminals are not brought to justice. Rather, the government is playing catch-up with the privileged few who blame some advisers for the fallen dictatorship, issue fatwas against the anti-discrimination student movement, obey whoever is the ruler, criticize the ruling group, agitate, block strikes as haram.
Gholam Mustafa Bhuiya said, attacks on various shrines are a sign of horror. How dare they, what do they think. It is against the constitution and the spirit of victory to prevent anyone who is a follower. It is the character of a civilized country to take different paths. We don't care if you are Maududibad or Wahhabi. But if you want to force Maududiism and Wahhabism on someone, don't you think that people will not accept it.
He also said that Shah Paran's Orshe attack in Sylhet is a reflection of the government's silence. One after the other horrible incidents are happening in the country by mob trials inciting the common people. Fighting dissent with such attacks and arson is not acceptable in any civilized country. Those who are creating disorder in the society and the state in the name of breaking shrines in the country of Aoli Aolia are actually the enemies of the country. The ghost of fascism. They must be resisted.
He said that after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's dictatorship on August 5, new hope was spread among people about the country. But an overnight class of opportunists, opportunists and crooks has emerged across the country creating anxiety. In order to preserve the victory achieved by the students' movement, the people of every village should stand united against the miscreants who are destroying the victory of the students. Everyone should clearly remember that there will be temples - mosques - churches - pagodas in Bangladesh of many ways and ways. There will be shrines - bauls - all cultures including fakirs. This country is the country of all religions, all races, all people.
He said that the huge masses of the country did not take to the streets on August 5 to bring down the fascist power and hand over Bangladesh to another fascist power. He called on the advisors of the interim government to quickly suppress the violent extremists and militants who destroyed the shrine, otherwise all the achievements of August 5 will be destroyed. Religious harmony should not be talked about. It should be proved in reality and freedom of religious expression of any tribe should be given.
The convener of the farmer-labor movement M. Gholam Mustafa Bhuiya, the joint convener of the organization spoke at the meeting. Mohsin Bhuiyan, Md. Suman Mia, labor leader Abdur Rahman, Abdul Halim, farmer leader Taizuddin Fakir, Abbas Alam etc.
