Students seeking registration of Islami University (EB) also held a protest march for nine-point demands, including the withdrawal of the special public notice proposal for the 18th teacher registration. The protest march started from Battala of the university on Wednesday (September 11) at 11:00 am. The procession circled the main campus road and ended in front of the main gate. Later a rally was held there.

In the march, 'Illegitimate public notices are not accepted', 'There is no room for discrimination in Abu Sayeed's Bengal', 'All over Bengal, give news to the whole of Bengal, bury the irregularities', 'Where there are illegal demands, there will be a fight', 'Teachers without talent, incompetent, incompetent', The agitators chanted slogans such as "The violation of the law will not continue".

Their demands were raised in the rally. The demands are - Any special public notification should be withdrawn before the 18th result. Candidates of 18th examination will have to publish their written result by September after completing the viva of October and publishing the final result. Priority should be given to 18th graders to eliminate teacher shortage. Recruitment process should be completed as per NTRCA circular. The appointment of 60,000 fake certificate holders should be cancelled. The 6th public notice should be given on the 18th by December. Apart from this, it is demanded to introduce Auto MPO and uphold the court verdict of 1st to 12th registrations.

The agitators in the rally said, we have been agitating against discrimination for so long, now our movement is for bread and sustenance. In the 18th registration, there were 350,000 candidates against which there are 75,000 posts. But the authorities are irregularly recruiting participants from 1st to 12th registration, most of whom are above 35 years of age and have not got jobs even in four notifications because of their poor results, citing teacher shortage. Giving jobs to such incompetents will degrade the quality of education. Our dream of Sonar Bengal will not be fulfilled.
