Pakistan's stern warning: 'Enemy will face dire consequences if it takes any more daring steps'

Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has once again given a stern message against India. He warned that if any kind of "dangerous step" is taken against Pakistan in the future, the enemy will have to face very wide, dangerous and painful consequences.
He made these remarks while addressing a program organized at the GHQ, the army headquarters in Rawalpindi, on Sunday. The program was organized to mark the one-year anniversary of last year's India-Pakistan conflict. Top officials of the Pakistan Army as well as the chiefs of the Air Force and Navy were also present there.
Asim Munir claimed that Pakistan achieved significant success not only in the military field but also in diplomatic and information warfare in last year's conflict. He said that the enemy tried to violate Pakistan's sovereignty, but all their plans were foiled in the conflict from May 6 to 10.
The Pakistani government has termed the conflict as ‘Marqa-e-Haq’ or ‘War of Truth’. The tension that began after the Pahalgam attack on April 22, 2025, later turned into Pakistan’s ‘Operation Bunyanum Marsus’ and the situation temporarily calmed down with a ceasefire on May 10.
In his speech, the Pakistani army chief also accused India of spreading “baseless allegations” and “war hysteria” to impose an illegal war. He claimed that India has been pursuing a strategy of hegemony in South Asia for a long time, but Pakistan has thwarted that plan every time.
Asim Munir also said that Operation Bunyanum Marsus has exposed India’s strategy of hiding its internal failures. According to him, even though India wants to take the regional balance in its favor through military aggression and diplomatic pressure, its capabilities in reality are much less than its ambitions.
Remembering the soldiers killed in the war, the Pakistan Army Chief said that the sacrifice of the martyrs is the foundation of the country's independence and security. He thanked the political leadership and the general public and said that national unity is the greatest strength of Pakistan, which has acted like an "iron wall" in times of crisis.
Referring to military capabilities, he claimed that the Pakistan Navy has been able to keep Indian warships far away from the coast and the Air Force has shown extraordinary skills in modern aerial warfare.
