US nuclear scientists missing one after another, new concerns about security

A series of mysterious deaths and disappearances of scientists involved in nuclear, space and top-secret research in the United States has raised new concerns. The issue has also started to be discussed in the political arena.
According to US media sources, since 2023, at least 9 to 10 people - who were involved in nuclear research, space technology and high-security projects - have disappeared or died under unusual circumstances. Some of these cases are still unsolved.
Former US President Donald Trump commented on this. He told Fox News, "We may get clear answers to this mystery soon." He added that a high-level meeting was held on the issue and progress could be known within the next one to one and a half weeks.
Trump told reporters at the White House, "This is a very important matter. Some very important scientists were involved in this. We are looking into the matter."
On the other hand, administration sources said that Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt has not yet discussed the matter in detail with the relevant agencies, but indicated that the matter will be taken seriously.
According to media reports, scientists from important research institutions such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and MIT's Plasma Science and Fusion Center were involved in the disappearances and deaths.
However, law enforcement and some experts have not yet been able to confirm the claim that there is any organized connection between the incidents. "Each incident needs to be investigated separately. It cannot be called a coordinated conspiracy right now," said Avi Loeb, a physicist at Harvard University.
Experts say that such uncertain situations of people involved in high-security research could carry important signals for national security and intelligence agencies. Some former FBI officials are not ruling out the possibility of possible espionage or targeted kidnapping.
Meanwhile, these series of incidents since 2023 have raised new questions and concerns in the US security community. It is reported that the investigative agencies are still working in depth on the matter.
