After England expatriate footballer Hamza Dewan Chowdhury, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is going to add two more young footballers to the team. They are Farhan Ali Wahid and Ryan Ali Wahid.
According to BFF sources, both brothers have officially agreed to play international football for Bangladesh. BFF Vice President Fahad Karim confirmed the matter.
BFF said that the agent of the two footballers, Adam Roberts, first contacted Bangladesh through an official email. Later, BFF President Tabith Awal and the technical team were informed about the matter.
Later, Fahad Karim, who is in Canada, started discussions with them. It is reported that the final consent was reached through online meetings with the two players and their families step by step.
Elder brother Farhan Ali Wahid is currently playing for Fulham FC in the English Premier League-2 level. He plays in the left wing position and is in talks for consistent performances in age-based leagues.
Younger brother Ryan Ali Wahid plays as an attacking midfielder for Woking FC in England. His creativity and speed in creating attacks are particularly striking in his game.
BFF said that the necessary administrative procedures and paperwork are being completed quickly. It is hoped that they will be able to be added to the national team camp by next July.
According to football related people, the arrival of these two young expatriate footballers will further strengthen the attack of the Bangladesh national team and open the door to new possibilities in future international matches.
