Former General Secretary of the People's Rights Council and currently associated with BNP politics, Muhammad Rashed Khan, has made explosive comments about Nasiruddin Patwari, the main organizer of the National Citizens Party (NCP). He claims that Nasiruddin Patwari had once repeatedly requested him to form a political alliance.
Rashed Khan made this claim in a post on his verified ID on social media Facebook on Tuesday (May 26) evening.
In the post, he mentioned that top leaders of various political parties were also present during the discussions on forming a political alliance with the NCP. He said that he made this post in response to Nasiruddin Patwari's statement at a recent press conference.
Rashed Khan raised questions about Nasiruddin Patwari's political position and ideology in his post. He alleged that although he had taken a stand against Jamaat-e-Islami in the past, his political stance was changed later.
Explaining his position, Rashed Khan said that the People's Rights Council has been politically associated with the BNP for a long time and he is doing politics in that vein.
In addition, he also made several personal allegations against Nasiruddin Patwari in the post. However, no response from Nasiruddin Patwari was immediately available on these allegations.
It is worth noting that in recent times, there have been exchanges of statements and tensions between the leaders of the NCP and BNP on various political issues.
