The US Embassy in Dhaka has issued a stern message that anyone who attempts to travel to the United States by submitting false documents or false information will face a lifetime ban. This warning was given in a notice published on the embassy's verified Facebook page on Monday (September 8) morning.
The message said that the consequences of visa fraud are very serious. If an applicant provides false information or submits false documents, his visa will be permanently canceled under US immigration law. As a result, that person will never be able to enter the United States again.
Earlier, in another message published on September 1, the US Embassy had said that the US government is taking strict measures in coordination with various agencies to prevent visa fraud and stop illegal immigration. It was also announced at that time that those involved in such activities will be banned from entering the United States for life.
The latest warning message also mentioned that a country cannot survive as a nation in the long term if it does not have secure borders. Therefore, strict criminal action will also be taken against individuals involved in visa fraud or those who harbor and assist illegal immigrants.
