A case of murder has been registered in connection with the death of a young man named Abul Hasan Swajan (25) who was shot during the anti-discrimination movement in Narayanganj. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former bridge minister Obaidul Quader, MP Shamim Osman and 48 others have been named in the case.

On Saturday night, the victim's brother Abul Bashar Anik filed a case at the Sadar Model Police Station as the plaintiff. Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdus Sattar confirmed the matter.
The other accused in the case are- Former Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud, Former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Former State Minister Jonaid Ahmed Palak, Former MP Salim Osman, District Awami League General Secretary Abu Hasnat Shaheed Badal, Shamim Osman's son Ayan Osman, brother-in-law and BCB director Tanveer Ahmed Titu. , Shamim Osman's nephew Ajmeri Osman, mayor Ivy Rahman's brother Ali Reza Ujjal, several councilors of Nashik, Awami League, Chhatra League, Jubo League and Jatiya Party leaders and activists. Apart from this, another 150-200 unidentified persons have been accused.

According to the complaint, on August 5, on the orders of top leaders including Sheikh Hasina, Shamim Osman and Salim Osman, the other accused attacked the students with indigenous weapons and firearms and tried to drive them away from the farm. Ayan Osman, son of Shamim Osman, shot him in a farming area at 1.30 am. Abul Hasan Swajan died on the afternoon of August 6 while undergoing treatment in DM after being shot in the chest.
Plaintiff Anik said about the case, "On Saturday afternoon, I decided to file the case after talking to the leaders of BNP in the city." If you file a complaint at the police station at night, the police will accept the case.
