28 Irtan doctors including Chhatra League leaders have been temporarily dismissed on charges of extortion and drug involvement in the Mymensingh Medical College campus and hostel area. The authorities took this decision in the academic council meeting held at the college auditorium on Saturday afternoon.

College Principal Professor Dr. Md. Prof. Dr. Nazmul Alam Khan presided over the meeting. President and Dr. Jimma Hossain. Md. Pending the report, the accused 28 intern doctors were expelled from the campus and hostel.
