Rajshahi Metropolitan Jubo League executive committee member Zahirul Islam Rubel (41) has been remanded for seven days by the court in the second round. After the previous remand, when he appeared in court today, the judge granted a seven-day remand in the second phase.

On Thursday (September 19) at noon, the police took Rubel to court and applied for a 10-day remand. After the hearing, the judge of Rajshahi Metropolitan Magistrate Court-1 said. Faisal Tariq granted 7 days remand.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Media) Sabina Yasmin of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) headquarters confirmed the matter and said that there are four cases under Rubel's name including the murder of two students.

Incidentally, on the night of September 13, RAB raided and arrested Jubo League leader Zahirul Islam Rubel from Daudkandi in Comilla. This Rubel, who shoots with both hands, is one of the accused in the murder case of two students in the mass uprising of August 5. Zahirul Islam Rubel's house is in Chandipur area of ​​Rajshahi metropolis. He is the son of Abdur Razzak of that area.
