The Benapole Port Authority has filed a case against a person named Suman Hossain (35) on the charges of forcibly entering the Benapole port and taking out the goods of the luggage party by evading customs duties and demanding extortion and obstructing the development of the port. The case was registered at the Benapole Port Police Station on Wednesday.
Earlier, Suman Hossain filed a case against Rezaul Karim, the former Director (Traffic) of Benapole Land Port and Zillur Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman of Bangladesh Land Port Authority, on charges of extortion and death threats in Jessore's Benapole Port Amli court on Tuesday.
Benapole Port Assistant Director (Administration) Shahida Sharmin filed the case against Sumon at Benapole Port Police Station on Wednesday. He said that the complaint was given on September 2. Finally, after the investigation, it was taken as a case on September 11.

Meanwhile, in Suman Hossain's case, five more unidentified people have been accused. The Judge of Benapole Port Amli Court in Jessore took cognizance of the complaint and ordered the CID to investigate and submit a report.
