The flood control dams of Muhuri, Kahua and Ceylon rivers are inundated with high velocity water entering the township. More than 350,000 people in the district are without electricity due to the worsening flood situation. Due to the disconnection of all kinds of communication, the flood-affected people have suffered greatly.

As the flood situation worsened, the connection was completely cut off in some areas of these three upazilas including Sonagazi and Daganbhunya upazilas from Tuesday. At the same time, due to waterlogging in Feni town due to heavy rain, electricity connection has been stopped since noon.

I have not been able to contact anyone since then. What is the condition of the family, the little children, the elderly—I spent time worrying about it.
