Former UP Chairman Kazi Anichur Rahman of Tetulia Sadar No. 3 of Upazila lost everything in the clutches of Ajyan Party. The incident took place in Tetulia Magura village on Tuesday (October 1).

Around 16 gold bangles with a market value of around 22 lakhs and cash were stolen from the residence of the former chairman of Sadar Union of Tetulia Upazila Kazi Anichur Rahman.
It is known that this theft happened last Monday (September 30) around 12 o'clock in the morning. Former chairman Kazi Anichur Rahman said that at 9 o'clock in the night, a young man who did not know him, his father was sick
He comes to ask for money. He did not know the young man well. He also advised him to apply to the local Union Parishad for his father's treatment and helped him with some money by taking him home. After drinking a glass of water from the water jug on the balcony of the house, he sat on the chair to watch TV and fell into a deep sleep. At about 11 o'clock in the night, he said that he was somewhat conscious but had no strength in his legs. However, with some difficulty, when he went out to go to the bathroom, he fell down due to sleepiness. Once again got up and grabbed the wall and somehow went to the bathroom without eating dinner and fell asleep on the bed. He even forgets to close the house door and outside gate. Then he was so sleepy that he could not open his eyes to call anyone or tell his wife. At around 8 o'clock in the morning, the chairman's wife woke up and called the chairman that the almirah door was broken and the gold ornaments were missing. Later, the small box table placed next to the bed in the chairman's bedroom was missing.

Former chairman Kazi Anichur Rahman said that in this incident, thieves took about 16 pieces of gold ornaments on the almirah door of his house and cash of Tk 5,000 and mobile phone on the box table. When the incident came to light within a few hours, the neighbors reached the spot and found the mobile phones near the two houses and handed them over. Tentulia Model Police Station inspected the spot. He said that he will file a case in this matter.

It may be noted that theft of Ajyan Party or Malam Party took place in several houses in Banglabandha, Sipaipara, Tirani, Bhajanpur, Shalbahan Road and Panchagarh district towns of Tentulia upazila and in passenger buses on Tentulia highway. Then under the leadership of Panchagarh District Police, they conducted a secret operation and arrested 6-7 members of the Ajyan Party and sent them to the District Magistrate.

There has been a huge increase in cases of malam party or ajna party theft. Last September 7/24, 6 people including children fell seriously ill after eating food in Namagach village of Shalbahan Union of Tentulia Upazila. All of a sudden, the insecurity of Janmal, the re-emergence of the Ajna Party or Malam Party Thief, has a sense of definition and fear. The miscreants looted 6000 rupees in cash along with 16 gold ornaments, gold bangles, neck chains, earrings and mobile phones from the residence.

In this regard, Tentulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sujoy Kumar said on Wednesday afternoon that he did not come to the police station with such a complaint. I got to know about it through you. If complaints are received, legal action will be taken after investigation.
