Demanding trial and resignation of the leader of the occupying Juba Dal in Sreepur

In Gazipur Sreepur, residents of the area formed a human chain to demand the resignation of Juba Dal leader Selim in protest against extortion, forced occupation of other people's houses and harassment with false cases.
On Wednesday (September 25) at 11:30 a.m., the human chain was held in front of the Upazila Complex building on the initiative of the victim's family and local residents.
The victims of the human chain said that Salim Ahmed is the senior joint convener of Sripur Municipal Youth Dal. He has been torturing, torturing and harassing the people of the area in various ways. They have been torturing people in various ways including beating them up with their batons, blackmailing them in false cases and threatening to kill them.
Rahima Begum, the wife of Kabir Talukder, the victim of the human chain, said that Salim has forcibly occupied our five-storey house by breaking my husband's leg. BNP has not come to power yet, they will not let us live if they come to power. I would like to draw the attention of the senior leaders of BNP and say, relieve him from the post. Also, I strongly demand for justice from the administration.
Another victim, Saddam, said, "My younger brother is a minor." Currently studying in a school. False cases were also filed in his name, and Salim filed false cases in the names of many school-going boys in the area. He is doing these misdeeds through his own baton using the name of Juba Dal. I demand that he be removed from the post of Jubo Dal and tried for usurpation.
