Haaland sees tough fight against Brazil

Norway advanced to the last 16 after defeating Ivory Coast. However, the team's star forward Erling Haaland took a realistic stance before taking the field against Brazil. According to him, Norway's task will not be easy against the five-time world champions.
Haaland scored a last-minute goal in the match against Ivory Coast to secure Norway's 2-1 victory. Earlier, Antonio Nusa gave Norway the lead. Later, Ivory Coast equalized, but in the end, Haaland's goal gave the Scandinavian team the victory.
After the match, Haaland said that this is a historic moment for Norway. After a long 28 years, they returned to the World Cup and not only passed the group stage, but now they have also made it to the knockout stage.
When asked about their chances against Brazil, Haaland said that the chances are very small. However, he thinks that now there is less pressure on Norway. So the team will be able to play freely and enjoy the moment.
Norway captain Martin Odegaard is also excited about the Brazil match. He said that they have heard the history of the Norway-Brazil match since childhood. Now it is a special experience for them to be able to play in that match themselves.
Norway defeated Brazil 2-1 in the 1998 World Cup. That memory can be an inspiration for the team this time too.
Norway will face Brazil next Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The match will start at 2 am Bangladesh time.
