Local Mujam Sardar and his men have been accused of hacking a farmer named Dulal Chowkidar (50) due to land dispute and past enmity in Madaripur.

The accused are Gani Sardar's son Muzam Sardar (55), Alauddin Bepari's son Nahid Hossain (25), Mannan Sardar's son Kibria Sardar (35), Sarwar Sardar (34), Azim Sardar's son Ruhul Sardar (22), Rashid Sardar's son Mizan Sardar ( 50), Kawsa Sardar and several others.

According to the complaint and the source of the victim, there was a dispute with Dulal Chowkidar and Muzam Sardar of Charbrahmandi area of ​​Jhowdi Union of Madaripur Sadar Upazila over land for a long time. On that occasion, Mozam Sardar's men ambushed Dulal Chowkida on his way home from work and cut off his hands and legs and seriously injured him. He was seriously injured. Later he was rescued by locals and admitted to Madaripur Sadar Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, the injured Dulal Chowkidar said, "We had a dispute with someone over a piece of land from a long time ago, and it was brought to arbitration in stages, but there was no solution." On this occasion, Muzam Sardar's people killed me with ram da. I am insecure now. I want fair justice from its government.

Meanwhile, Mahinur Begum, the wife of the injured Dulal Choukdar, said that we only want justice for them.

Billal Chowkidar, the grandson of Dulal Chowkidar, said, "There may be a local conflict over land, then how can someone anger an old man like this? We want them to be judged."

Even after going to the house of accused Mozam Sardar, no trace of him was found.

In this regard, Madaripur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge OC Salauddin Ahmed said, legal action will be taken subject to investigation.
