Islamic University (EB) has been handed over the chairmanship of the Department of Islamic History and Culture. On Sunday (October 27) at around 12:30 in the morning, the new president of the department, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Gazi officially took charge.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. during the transfer of responsibility. Nakeeb Mohammad Nasrullah said, "The president of the department is not a position, it is a responsibility. In this new change, those who are given responsibility in different places have more responsibility. Today's Bangladesh has been created through a lot of hard work and patience. We used to be distracted. Hope was lost. There is no more hope, but the student uprising has lit up that hope.

He further said, "A chairman is a changemaker. He will represent the department. He will cooperate with all. He will work to take the department to a better position than the current state. He will combine academics, syllabus, student activities and research in the light of the era.
He asked to focus on instilling a culture where no teacher is without leave.

After handing over the responsibility, President Gafur Gazi said, I want to organize this department to implement the purpose of establishing the university. Everything is created from history. Likewise, the role of this department in creating leadership and in various crises of the university is undeniable. With the advice and cooperation of all, I will work for this department with honesty, devotion and sincerity. I will do my best to make this troubled department better and better than it was."
