Rain in the midst of severe winter!

The grip of severe winter is being felt across the country, including Dhaka. A mild cold wave is prevailing in various regions, which has further increased the severity of the winter. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has received good news of a slight increase in temperature. The agency has announced the possibility of rain in the next five days from the evening of next Wednesday (January 29). Earlier, there is also a possibility of a slight increase in temperature from Tuesday.
The latest forecast says that the cold wave that started in Rajshahi, Chuadanga, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Panchagarh and Moulvibazar regions from Sunday will continue until Monday. Such intensity of winter may remain until Tuesday. However, from Wednesday, the night temperature across the country will increase by one to two degrees and the day temperature will increase slightly.
The night temperature may decrease slightly in the southern regions, but it may remain unchanged in other parts of the country. In addition, there is a possibility of a slight decrease in day temperature across the country on Monday.
Meteorologist Afroza Sultana said, “The temperature on Monday may remain the same as on Sunday. However, the temperature may increase again from Wednesday. After that, there is a possibility of rain in the northeastern region of the country.”
According to the 72-hour forecast of the Meteorological Department, the possibility of rain has been mentioned in the northeastern region of the country after three days.
