Allama Sheikh Sajidur Rahman, Secretary General of Hefazte Islam Bangladesh, said that those who brutally killed activists and activists in 2013, 2016 and 2021 should demand exemplary punishment. At the same time, all the false cases filed against Hefazat activists from 2013 to date must be withdrawn immediately.
He said these things at a mass meeting organized by Hefazete Islam Bangladesh at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram on Saturday (August 10) afternoon to prevent anarchy and establish peace.
Claiming that a tendency to create instability in some important state institutions is being observed, the Hefazat leader said that attempts to create public protests by creating rebellion and chaos are being observed in some places. Hefazat Islam does not believe in creating this protest in the current situation.
The Secretary General of Defense said that legal measures should be taken to identify the culprits through a judicial investigation of the casualties in the anti-discrimination student movement. Compensation should be provided to the families of those killed and medical treatment to those injured.
Scholars are always ready to work for any need of the state. Calling upon the Interim Government to seek their advice and opinion where necessary.
