'Well done Bangladesh Cricket Team' says Jamaat Amir

The Bangladesh national cricket team has achieved a historic victory against the powerful hosts on Australian soil. After defeating Australia in the Darwin Test, the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and the Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, congratulated the Tigers.
Referring to this success of the Bangladesh team as a matter of joy, pride and dignity for the entire nation, he congratulated the cricketers, coaching staff and everyone concerned.

In a congratulatory message after Bangladesh’s historic victory in the Darwin Test, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Well done! Bangladesh Cricket Team.”
He said that the mental fortitude, confidence and team unity shown by the Bangladesh team players despite the difficult situation is commendable.
Memorable victory of the Tigers on Australian soil
Bangladesh defeated the hosts Australia by 9 wickets in the Test match held at the Marara Stadium in Darwin. After the excellent performance of the bowlers, the Tigers ensured victory with the responsible batting of the batters.
In the fourth innings, Bangladesh had a target of only 57 runs to win. The Bangladesh team easily achieved that run. Mominul Haque and Sadman Islam remained unbeaten and led the team to victory.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman praised the fighting spirit, patience and extraordinary performance of the Bangladesh cricketers.
