Khorshed Alam stands by fire-affected traders, provides financial assistance

Former joint general secretary of Dhaka district BNP and mayoral candidate of Savar Municipality Lion Mohammad Khorshed Alam has stood by the traders affected by the terrible fire at Sajjad Paduka Market at Savar bus stand.
On Tuesday afternoon, he inspected the shops burnt down in the fire and handed over financial assistance to the affected shoe traders. During this time, he spoke to the traders, inquired about their losses and expressed his condolences.
During the inspection, Khorshed Alam said that traders have faced major losses in such fires just before Eid. He said, “BNP is always by the side of the people. Under the direction of Dhaka-19 constituency MP Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin Babu, we are assisting the affected traders so that they can get back on their feet.”
He further assured that BNP will continue to stand by the affected traders in the future.
The affected traders expressed satisfaction with receiving financial assistance. They said that such cooperation has instilled new courage and hope in these difficult times.
Savar Municipal Chhatra Dal leader Taj Khan Naeem, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates, and local dignitaries were present at the event.
