Jamaat MP Candidate Mufti Amir Hamza Falls Ill During Campaign, Hospitalized

Jamaat-e-Islami’s nominated MP candidate for Kushtia-3, Mufti Amir Hamza, suddenly fell ill during his election campaign. He has been admitted to the Kushtia 250-bed General Hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
According to party leaders and eyewitnesses, Mufti Amir Hamza was participating in electioneering activities, including public outreach and campaign programs in different areas of the constituency. During the campaign, he suddenly felt unwell and became physically weak. He was immediately taken to the hospital by accompanying party leaders and supporters.
Hospital sources said that doctors conducted initial examinations and placed him under observation. His condition is reported to be stable at present, and he is receiving necessary medical care. However, detailed information regarding the cause of his illness has not yet been officially disclosed.
The news of his sudden illness has caused concern among Jamaat-e-Islami leaders, activists, and supporters in Kushtia-3. Many party members rushed to the hospital to inquire about his health, while others expressed their wishes for his speedy recovery on social media.
Supporters and well-wishers have also called for prayers for his quick recovery, asking Almighty Allah to grant him complete healing, ease his suffering, make the treatment effective, and allow him to return soon in good health to continue serving the people and working for religious and social causes.
Party sources stated that, following doctors’ advice, Mufti Amir Hamza will resume his campaign activities once he fully recovers. Leaders and supporters across the constituency are continuing to pray for his swift recovery.
