Those who were my people are now the pillars of Jamaat: Dr. Milon

Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, the BNP-nominated candidate for Chandpur-1 (Kachua) constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, made a sensational comment on a talk show. He said that he was surprised and shocked by an unexpected incident that happened in his area before the election.

In a talk show on a private television channel, Dr. Ehsanul Haque Milon said that one day, around 9 am, he saw a procession coming. He was surprised to see the matter and thought that his supporters might be the ones marching. But when he got closer, he saw that it was a procession of a Jamaat candidate. At that time, he said, “Allah! They were all mine, when did they go!”

He also said on the program that basically the Awami League and BNP—these two political forces—had been active in the country for a long time. He thought that Jamaat had also been with them for so long. According to his statement, those whom he had benefited for a long time and whom he considered as his party members and followers, now appear to be the pillars of Jamaat.

Dr. Milon said that till now, he had thought that the entire Kachua was his political base. But he was disappointed to see the real picture. This BNP candidate commented that he had never imagined such a political change.
