NCP's southern chief organizer and 10-party alliance candidate for Comilla-4 constituency Hasnat Abdullah said that voters will have to guard the center in the upcoming elections. He also warned that if anyone comes to capture the center, they will be resisted.
He said these things at a courtyard meeting organized as part of an anti-aggression march in Biralla area of Debidwar upazila of Comilla on Tuesday (January 6) morning. Earlier, he held mass meetings in different areas of Jafarganj union of Debidwar and exchanged greetings with voters.
Hasnat Abdullah said that those who commit corruption, rig tenders and engage in litigation politics should be voted against. He said that this time's vote is important for establishing justice, standing against corruption and opposing Indian hegemony.
He also said that this time voters will no longer be sold to money. If someone comes to buy votes with money, they must be rejected. He commented, "So far, leaders have been giving money to voters for one day, and voters have been following the leader for five years—this culture must be changed."
Leaders and activists of various levels of Jamaat and NCP were also present at the public relations and yard meeting.
