BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has called for the party to be well-organized and more connected to the people at the Narsingdi district BNP membership drive. He made it clear that those who extort, loot or harass ordinary people, are murderers-terrorists or allies of the fascist party will not be able to become BNP members.
Speaking as the chief guest at the membership drive organized by the district BNP at the Heritage Resort auditorium in Madhabdi on Wednesday (October 29) afternoon, Rizvi also said that BNP will be a well-organized and ideology-based political party. Teachers, employees, rickshaw pullers, small businessmen and ordinary people will join this party. He said, “BNP is the party of the people, BNP will stand anew with the power of the people. BNP will move forward under the leadership of Tarique Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia. No matter how many conspiracies there are to break BNP, they will fail. We came here by fighting, and we will fight in the future too.”
Narsingdi District BNP President and Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon, General Secretary Manjur Elahi, and hundreds of leaders and activists from the central, district, upazila, municipality and union levels were present at the meeting.
The leaders said at the meeting that the organization will be strengthened to the grassroots through membership recruitment activities. The participation of the common people will be the biggest strength of BNP. Besides, the district BNP has planned to accelerate the party’s activities by undertaking more series of programs.
